Dr. Mulick graduated from Midwestern University in 2004 with a Doctorate of Osteopathy.  He then completed a surgical internship in Denver and then residency in Anesthesiology from Yale New Haven Hospital in 2008.  In 2009 he completed a one year fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the Seattle Children's Hospital.  He worked as an assistant professor for the New York Medical College at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut.  He then left the country to work in underserved areas around the world.

Dr. Mulick has travelled extensively.  He has visited over 60 countries, climbed three of the seven summits, worked for Doctors Without Borders, survived kidnappings, dengue fever, malaria and meningitis epidemics, and have taken care of the world’s poorest people.  He returned to the United States in 2012 and completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiac anesthesia at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. 

He now on sabbatical, driving around the United States in an RV, and is the course instructor for the Wilderness and Survival Medicine undergraduate class at the University of Southern California.
